Kamal Launches Gemini Ganesan Biography Book by Narayani Ganesh

Narayani Ganesh, the third daughter of Gemini Ganeshan, a journalist by profession had her authored work of ‘Eternal Romantic My Father Gemini Ganesan’ unveiled by Padmashri Kamal Haasan and veteran actress Saroja Devi.

Kamal Haasan on Tuesday evening launched a book on Gemini Ganesan, the ‘Kadhal Mannan’ of Tamil cinema. Titled ‘Eternal Romantic – My Father Gemini Ganesan’, the book is written by the late actor’s daughter and journalist Narayani Ganesh.

Kamal, who also wrote the foreword to the book, said, “I have never seen Gemini upset. He was always happiness personified. He was the one who taught me a lot, including English language skills.”

At the function, Narayani red out passages from the book, which spoke about her celebrity father’s early days. Despite being a busy actor, he always had time for children and provided them good education.

Gemini’s colleague in many films Saroja Devi, his good friend and Cho Ramaswamy also spoke about the experiences they had with the actor. “Gemini was very sportive,” Cho said.
