The film makers narrated the story and script to Deepika recently.She was impressed with the script.Deepika is in dilema that how she can arrange dates for the movie.Deepika Padukone to be a great fan of rajini kanth and not intended to loose the offer.
As per the industry sources Rajinikanth is playing dual roles and the filmmakers felt that Deepika would be the right fit for the role opposite Superstar.
